'Expert Patients' - new courses

Upcoming FREE Expert Patients Programme Courses, for those who live with or care for someone with a long term condition or disability
The Greenwich Expert Patients Programme provides free self-management courses for anybody caring for someone with a long-term condition or living with a long-term health condition. Courses offer you the opportunity to develop the confidence and skills necessary to manage long-term conditions on a day-to-day basis.

As an expert patient you can:

Feel confident and in control of your life
Aim to manage your condition and its treatment with the support of healthcare professionals
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and be willing to share responsibility for treatment
Be realistic about how your condition affects them and their family
Uses your skills and knowledge to lead a full life.

‘New Beginnings’ Mental Health – SE9

Day: Fridays

Time: 10.30am – 1pm

Dates: 14th, 21st, 28th, October and 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th November 2016

Adult/Generic  – Men Only – SE9

Day: Tuesdays

Time: 10.30am – 1pm

Dates: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th October and 1st, 8th November 2016

‘Supporting Parents’ – SE10

Day: Thursdays

Time 10:30am – 1pm

Dates: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th November and 1st, 8th December 2016

‘Looking After Me’ Carers – SE7

Day: Thursdays

Time: 10.30am – 1pm

Dates: 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th October and 3rd, 10th November 2016
