    20 September: Coffee morning for parents

    Parents enjoyed delicious cakes and a warm welcome at our September coffee morning, held at in the Boardroom at Charlton Park Academy School. Local parent Natalie created a feast of baked treats and we able to meet some new faces, share experiences and find out more about what parents are concerned about, including reactions to the new SEN reforms being tested in the Royal Borough’s Pathfinder project.     28 March: The SEN Reforms introduction

    Brian Lamb OBE presented an Introduction to the Children and Families Bill in March 2013. It was a full house as Brian explained the key features of the reforms. These include the ‘Local Offer’, the new concept of Personalisation embodied in the Education Health and Care Plan (which replaces the ‘Statement’) and the associated Personal Budget.
